Episode #3 | Senator Michelle Hinchey on Period Politics

Period Power! Club president Makayla Leon interviews Senator Michelle Hinchey, who introduced a successful bill to require menstrual products to be offered for free in public colleges in New York State and university restrooms.

Period Power! Club advisor Tina Dierna shares her TMI Project monologue on how she came to be known as “Tina the Tampon Lady”.

“Period products are really expensive. That in and of itself is deeply problematic. So for a family determining how they can spend their limited dollars, this is a healthcare issue – making sure that people who menstruate actually have the healthcare equipment that they need to live their true, authentic selves.” – Tina
