Episode #1 | Recycle Your Cycle

Did you know that an estimated 11,000 tampons are used over the course of the average menstruators’ lifetime? Period Power! Club members discuss some options for more environmentally friendly menstrual products. The club watches Domonique’s 2023 TMI Project monologue about her first time using a tampon, and Domonique reflects on how telling her true story on stage has impacted her one year later.

“We just need to be more open, we need to be more comfortable. Periods don’t need to be a weird topic where we’re kind of like, uh, that’s yucky.
We need to speak out to our governments, our local officials, the manufacturers, and this is how we’re gonna get changed and this is how we’re gonna get more regulation.”
– Domonique
