A Video Podcast Launch Celebration and Taping!

Put on your most fabulous red and pink attire and join us on September 17 to celebrate the launch of The TMI Project Story Hour’s new special video podcast collection, Period Power Stories!

It’s more than a party — it’s a late-night talk show–style celebration hosted by musician and queer icon Bitch. Join us for a community extravaganza complete with podcast trailer reveal, live music, student storytelling, and complimentary sweet treats!

We’re uplifting the youth voices of Kingston High School students who have created the content they wish they’d had growing up — a podcast and graphic novel that tell the truth about coming of age, normalize conversations about menstruation, and inspire change.

Together we’ll laugh, cheer, and celebrate the launch of the series to ensure their work makes its way to schools and communities where it can make a real difference.

Hosted by: Bitch

Bitch is a longstanding queer icon, actress, musician and writer who Yahoo Entertainment called “a feminist force that the world needs now more than ever” when she released “Bitchcraft,” her 9th studio album, on the legendary label Kill Rock Stars in 2022.

Using songs from “Bitchcraft,” she developed a one woman show, “Hey Bitch!” that has run for two Summer-long residencies in Provincetown, MA.  From there, she and her co-writer Margie Zohn rewrote the play and titled it “Bitchcraft: A Musical Play,” which played to rave reviews in an off-Broadway run at Wild Project in February 2025. Whether she is acting in her autobiographical show, or playing a musical concert, Bitch’s shows are colorful, bold, and unforgettable.

Period Power Stories is a special collection of The TMI Project Story Hour, made in collaboration with Kingston High School’s Period Power! Club, who are fighting to make period poverty a thing of the past.

The trailer airs September 17, 2025, with new episodes dropping each Wednesday.
